Pascal Durand and Bob Madill have been hosting educational wine tours for wine professionals, collectors and enthusiasts to classic European wine regions for 15 years. Our tours for small groups of ten to twelve provide personal and intimate visits to producers, vineyards, cellars, cuisine, and landscapes.
Our seven day tour will start on Sunday March 23, 2025, spending the first night and dinner together in Bordeaux. From March 24 to 29, 2025 we will explore and experience the exceptional winegrowing terroirs of Bordeaux including the medieval city of Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will travel among producers on ‘Left’ and ‘Right’ banks of the Gironde and spend time considering fascinating, lesser known terroirs. Bordeaux is in transition facing climate change and economic challenges. Tradition is changing with six new varieties approved for vineyards including Touriga Nacional and Alvarinho. We'll meet with producers visiting vineyards and cellars.
The tour includes:
-
Accommodation (single or shared) for seven nights including two nights in the city of Bordeaux.

-
Visits to at least eight producers with tours of vineyards and cellars and expert tastings.
-
